"What r u doing???"Asked Shadowtail,as he watched Silverstar stare at the silver glowing moon.it had made his pelt shimmer like the moon itself."Just thinking."He meowed.
"Thinking about what?"He meowed in reply, but he didn't need an answer to know exactly what he was thinking about."shimmerpelt."he replied.Shadowtai'ls only reply was"she'll be fine,she gets her skills from her father."
it was the first night his kit was going out for a hunt,and what he just told Silverstar was no lie.she could hunt well,he had seen that in her training."i watched her train,i should know,and u know i wouldn't make her if she wasn't ready.""i guess well find out in the morning."he meowed.
it was morning and every body was awake.every one wanted to know how the first day of hunting turned out for Shimmerpelt,every body.there had been an accident with Longtail.three of the dogs had attacked the 2 cats and caught them by surprise.it was only lucky for Longtail to have Shimmerpelt.
Shimmerpelt's father,Silverstar,came in.he saw the crowd and freaked.a crowd in the morning usually meant an accident to one of the hunters.he asked Longtail were Shimmerpelt was."right here."and there,right in front of him was Shimmerpelt,not a scratch on her.
"so how was your fist day hunting?"he questioned."it was an adventure!!!"she meowed."i faced three dogs on my own."
"what!!"he screamed.that was impressive,but dangerous."i told u i could do this"she meowed naggingly."i know u did."
"where's your sister,Leafpaw???"he asked"wy?"she acttually had no idea were her older sister was."she neads to teng to longtail."
"i already took care of him,daddy."her father looked impressed and proud."and what herb did u use???""i used the mantra"she replied.
her father was proud of his little kit.he was about to shed tears wen shadow tail came to ask how it went."she faced three dogs and heeled long tail with the mantra"he awnsered for her."dad i can awnser my own question."
"three dogs"shadowtail was amazed.even for shimmerpelt that was amazing shimmerpelts father looked very proud of his kit."im giong to go eat."shimmer pelt announced.
"i told u it was nothing to worry about"he said."no nead to say i tolled u so shadowtail,i kno now"they were looking out at shimmer pelt and longtail when they had pawed off.
"do u think that they like each other???"silverstar asked.it was something he should kno about,if they did."dout it,but they have been hanging out more often.""o well,probabley nothing."
this reaction had suprised shadowtail.silverstar never started and ended a subject so quikly."kk,watever u say,silverstar.she is ur kit."
the next day longtail knew he had to tell shimmerpelt the truth.so he pawed up to her,saying:"shimmerpelt,i love u." :-[

:)this was a shock and a happines for shimmerpelt she had thought that longtail had a cute pelt and so she kissed on the nose."i love u to."she said.
they walked off,both tails hooked,to the waterfall.longtails father was there and saw there tails wer hooked,and knew that ment one thing."u like Shimmerpelt,Longtail?"his father was a disapionted.shimmerpelt's family and thers didnt get along that well.
longtail turned around to see his father,and had the courage to tell him yes,he did like shimmerpelt.disapiontmant spread on his fathers face."u kno we dont aprove of them."he meowed.longtail knew that better than any on did,bu that didnt mean he coulnt like shimmerpelt.
shimmerpelts father was watching the whole thing but worries more on the fact that there was a scowling firenose,and that ment trouble for longtail."dont touch him,firenose."he meowed."why not,he is my son,not urs.""but u shouldnt let our lives get in there way,its there lives,not ours."
firenose was in shock,anough to leave them alone."

(srry,athur momment."IN UR FACE,FIRE NOSE"ok,back to the story)thanks,dad."
meowed shimmimerpelt."ur welcome."he replied.
"come on shimmerpelt,lets swim."they went to swim wich left silverstar by himself,watching the 2 cats."i knew it."is all he told himself."my little shimmerpelt is all grown up."
saying this,he shed a tear(or 2,mabey 100). :'(

The Plot It is pretty chilly around Atlantis right now, but no one is paying any mind. Besides...it's getting warmer and warmer every day! Nothing very strange has been happening down here under water, but many of the cats don't like having to watch out for currents and sharks. The twolegs seem unhappy too. There are many twolegs with dark masks running around with regular twolegs running after them. Many cats are switching Clans...how many of your cats will leave? Rumors have been going around that a cat has found its way out into the fresh air...up on dry land! That is what all of the cats have been chattering about. Will anyone be able to find THEIR way out onto the dry land? If anyone does, will they be able to live? To adapt? The Atlantis cats all have gills, which they use, but they have lungs too! No one knows though...will any of then fins out? Well...we'll just have to see, won't we?
